The Rise of Wireless and Hybrid Fire Detection
Wireless technology plays a massive part in the day-to-day life of most people. Phones, tablets, computers, lightbulbs, plug sockets and even fridges and kettles are all making use of wireless connectivity to provide home automation, Internet access and more. With widespread availability and constant advances in the wireless field, it is not surprising that wireless fire alarms are becoming increasingly popular.
Fire Alarm Systems – Prisons
A prison is a building used to house those who have committed a crime or are awaiting trial. Prisons are a place for confinement and are, therefore, used as punishment for illegal actions. There are many prisons located all around the world, some of which are at a higher security level than others.
Fire Alarm Systems – Council Offices
Council offices or houses provide office space for elected council members and other council departments such as housing, planning, transport and building control. Most districts and cities in the UK have council offices which may include committee rooms and banqueting suites, as well as many other private or shared spaces.
Linear Heat Detection for Void Areas
Suspended ceilings, also known as dropped or false ceilings, are secondary ceilings that are suspended from the structure above. Suspended ceilings do not just create a more aesthetic finish, they also create a void that provides a useful space.
Linear Heat Detection for Electrical Cupboards
An electrical cupboard is an enclosure used to mount switches, displays and dials in order to prevent electric shock and protect the contents from the environment. Electrical enclosures can either be located indoors or outdoors and must adhere to a variety of regulations and requirements in order to keep people and the environment safe.
