2017 Roundup

In 2017, Eurofyre has been focusing most of its attention on promoting a select few products from our aspirating smoke detection and linear heat detection ranges:

FyreLine Linear Heat Detection

FyreLine linear heat detection provides early warning of fire or overheating equipment. FyreLine heat sensing cables are capable of detecting heat at any point along their length, can be installed with or in place of conventional heat detectors and are designed for use in commercial and industrial applications.

FyreLine linear heat detection is available in two versions:

  • FyreLine Analogue
FyreLine Analogue heat sensing cable continually monitors for significant increases in temperature, providing both pre-alarm and alarm. FyreLine Analogue is also fully resettable.
  • FyreLine Digital
FyreLine Digital is available with four different temperature ratings; 68°C, 88°C, 105°C or 185°C. Once the cables rated temperature is reached, a signal is sent to the fire alarm control panel, indicating that excessive heat has been detected. Once an alarm has been triggered, the damaged length of cable can be easily replaced.

VESDA-E VEA Aspirating Smoke Detection

VESDA-E VEA aspirating smoke detection combines the reliability of very early warning smoke detection with pinpoint addressability. VESDA-E VEA detectors also offer a range of annunciation options that surpass traditional spot detectors.

VESDA-E VEA detectors support up to 40 sampling points as standard and can be extended to support up to 120 sampling points using additional StaX modules. Once a presence of smoke is detected in the sampling chamber, a rotary valve is employed to individually test each sampling point which allows the detector to accurately report the location of a fire.

VESDA-E VEP Aspirating Smoke Detection

VESDA-E VEP aspirating smoke detection uses Flair detection technology to provide an advanced warning of fire while minimising nuisance alarms. The VEP range achieves this by offering absolute calibration, multi-stage filtration and optical protection with clean air barriers to supply continual performance.

The VESDA VEP range is compatible with existing VESDA installations, and there is an XTRALIS VESDA detector replacement programme available to help bring existing detectors up-to-date.
