SMS Fire Alarm Systems

Fire detection systems are designed to identify fire through heat, smoke, or flames, alerting occupants and authorities to ensure safety and minimise damage. SMS, a UK-based provider and part of Honeywell Life Safety Systems, offers leading fire detection and alarm products, including the LPCB-approved SenTRI system.

The SenTRI range provides a versatile and scalable analogue fire alarm system suitable for buildings of all sizes. It features true analogue sensing with adjustable sensitivity to reduce false alarms, integrated sounders and visual alarms to minimise installation costs, and loop wiring isolators for efficient fault detection.

Honeywell has appointed Eurofyre as the sole authorised distributor for SMS products in the UK and Ireland from 1st January 2025. This transition aims to improve product availability, technical assistance, and training opportunities for SMS integrators. While SMS offers a more accessible alternative, it is important to note that its products are not compatible with Gent systems.
