Overview
The SenTRI Addressable Heat Sensor with Sounder VAD is a high-performance life safety device that combines accurate heat detection with an integrated sounder and visual alarm device (VAD). Designed for environments where smoke detection isn’t appropriate, such as plant rooms or commercial kitchens, it responds swiftly to temperature rises while providing both audible and visual alarms for enhanced occupant awareness.
This all-in-one unit simplifies system design and installation, thanks to its built-in loop isolator, which improves fault tolerance and removes the cost of separate isolators. The sensor includes a programmable input/output circuit, which can act as either a fire input or output, reducing the need for dedicated interfaces. Like the rest of the SenTRI range, it fits onto a universal first-fix base, making upgrades and replacements simple and cost-effective.
With its combined heat sensing, clear audible alert, and bright VAD strobe, this device is ideal for meeting inclusive safety standards and ensuring swift evacuation, even in noisy or low-visibility areas.
