Overview
The Wi-Fyre Xenos Wireless Sounder VAD base is a high-performance device that incorporates an EN54-23 compliant visual alarm device (VAD) to alert people in the event of a fire.
Xenos wireless detectors are easily mounted to the Wi-Fyre Xenos Wireless Sounder VAD base or a sounder cover can be fitted if a detector is not required.
Wi-Fyre Xenos Wireless Sounder VAD bases have 32 recognised sounder tones and 4 levels of volume adjustment. They also have high power/low power visual settings. All settings can easily be configured on site.
These devices are powered by standard lithium batteries and use well-proven radio signal processing algorithms to ensure the highest levels of life-safety and reliability.
Wi-Fyre Xenos Wireless Sounder VAD bases are available with either red or white flashers.
Wireless Range
The point-to-point transmission range for Xenos is over 1km in open air and our antenna technology is tuned for performance across frequencies and environments. Combined with up to 8 expansion hops, a Wi-Fyre Xenos system can cover well over 8km.
Battery Life
Wi-Fyre Xenos Wireless Sounder VAD bases use standard low-cost lithium battery technology with a battery life of up to 5 years.
