The Solo A10S Smoke Test Aerosol, available from Eurofyre, is a modern, HFC-free and non-flammable product designed for the safe and efficient functional testing of smoke detectors. This 250ml aerosol simulates smoke particles environmentally, ensuring reliable operation of fire alarm systems.

For optimal performance, the Solo A10S must be used with a Solo 330 or 332 aerosol dispenser. These units create a tight seal around the detector, optimising gas usage and preventing optical chamber contamination, thereby maximising tests per can.

Developed by Detector Testers, the Solo A10S replaces the discontinued, environmentally harmful Solo A3. Using approved aerosols like the A10S is crucial to prevent detector damage, such as stress cracking or residue build-up; Detector Testers products are globally recognised for quality and manufacturer approval.

Each 250ml can is estimated to test around 300 detectors, though this varies with ambient temperature, user habits, and system integrity. Users should spray for about one second every ten seconds until activation. The product typically maintains efficacy beyond 12 months when stored properly.
