The Haes SZAOV AOV Control Panel provides a flexible and comprehensive solution for single zone smoke vent control applications, managing vents, windows, and roof lights. Designed for straightforward installation, it centralises all necessary vent controls and indications on the front panel, ensuring ease of operation and programming.

Equipped with an integral 3 amp power supply unit (PSU) and battery backup, the panel guarantees continuous power to actuators even during mains failures. It features a single monitored detection zone, configurable for conventional or twin-wire systems, with comprehensive monitoring for short and open circuits on all inputs and actuator outputs. A false alarm management mode is also included to reduce maintenance costs.

The SZAOV AOV integrates with fire alarm panels via a non-latching input and supports additional inputs for PIR sensors, rain sensors, and Building Management Systems (BMS) through an optional plug-in PCB. Operator access is provided by a key switch or code entry, and a critical fireman switch input allows overriding all other controls for emergency situations.

This control panel meets stringent European regulations, including the Construction Products Regulation CPR305/2011/EU, Low Voltage Directive, and Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive. It also adheres to BS EN 61000-6-3:2007 + A1:2011 for emissions and, importantly, the BS EN 12101-2:2017 standard for Natural Smoke and Heat Exhaust Ventilators, underscoring its reliability for life safety systems.

Constructed from a robust 1.2mm mild steel enclosure with an IP30 rating, the unit features a nominal 27V DC internal switch mode power supply. It accommodates two 7Ah 12V VRLA fire-rated batteries, ensuring resilient performance and operational readiness.
