The Crisis EVC Remote Alarm Panel by Eurofyre offers a compact and stylish solution for Emergency Voice Communication Systems (EVCS), designed for permanent placement in staffed areas when the main Master Station is located elsewhere. It provides clear audible and visual indication whenever the EVC system is in use or an ‘assist call’ alarm is activated.

Manufactured in the UK, the panel fully complies with BS5839-9:2011, a key standard for EVCS used as fire telephone (FT) or disabled refuge systems (DRS). These systems provide crucial secure, bi-directional voice communication for firefighters during emergencies in high-rise buildings or large sites.

Featuring a brushed stainless steel finish, the panel supports both flush and surface mounting. It connects to a Crisis EVC Master Station via an ‘In-use’ relay and requires a local mains supply. Installation mandates an ‘MK’ style double gang back-box, at least 32mm deep (35mm for cable glands), with placement aligning with Building Regulations Document M and BS8300-2:2018.

Further compliance extends to BS8300, EN55103 EMC, and EN60905-1 LVD standards. Connection involves a single 2-core 1.5mm screened enhanced cable, permitting a maximum run of 500 metres.
