Description

The Eurofyre Crisis EVC Assist Call Master Station is a crucial component of Emergency Voice Communication Systems (EVCS), designed and manufactured in the UK to fully comply with BS5839-9:2011, BS9999:2017, and BS8300:2018. It serves as a secure, bi-directional, full-duplex voice communication system, aiding firefighters during emergencies in large or high-rise buildings and functioning as a fire telephone (FT) or disabled refuge system (DRS), or a combined unit.

This master station can accept and display emergency assist alarm calls, and supports between two and eight outstation lines, accommodating Type A fixed phones, Type B refuge hands-free points, or emergency assist alarm points. Its user interface features a 4.3-inch touch-screen with four quick-access buttons, continuously showing current calls, alarms, and faults. Emergency assist calls can be acknowledged via the screen, and will re-alarm if not reset within two minutes.

The system is highly scalable, allowing standalone operation or integration into a wider network. It can form part of a Crisis EVC Network installation, supporting up to 64 panels and a total of 512 outstations. Each panel can be configured as a master station or a network expander, facilitating comprehensive site coverage.

Housed in a powder-coated zintec enclosure, the unit features the touch screen, up to four dual line cards, and an EN54-4:A2 2006 PSU. It offers both surface and flush mounting options and includes space for a single 12V SLA backup battery. Configuration is managed via a spreadsheet and an MMC card, which also stores site logs, allowing entire site configuration from any master station.
