Overview

The Harsh Environment In-line Filter Element is the replacement filter for the 25mm Harsh Environment In-line Filter, used to protect aspirating smoke detection (ASD) systems installed in excessively dusty or damp environments. Made from pleated polyester, the element traps airborne particles of 30μm and above as standard, with other pore sizes available, and is rated for a working temperature of 50°C. Its large surface area helps to minimise how often replacement is required, and fitting a new element restores full filtration performance without the need to replace the housing or alter the pipe network, helping to reduce ongoing maintenance costs and support the long-term reliability of the detector.
