The ProFyre Conventional Optical & Heat Detector, available from Eurofyre, is a combined smoke and heat detection device designed for conventional fire alarm systems. This low-profile detector features 360-degree LED indication for clear visibility and can be locked to its base to deter unauthorised removal. It also provides a remote LED output.
The detector is engineered to complement ProFyre C8 and C24 conventional control panels. It holds comprehensive safety and performance approvals, being LPCB certified and CE marked, indicating full compliance with all applicable European Union directives, including the Construction Products Regulation (CPR), EMC Directive, and Low Voltage Directive (LVD). The device meets EN54-5 for heat detectors and EN54-7 for smoke detectors.
Technical specifications highlight an operating voltage range of 10.50 to 33Vdc, a quiescent current of 40µA, and an alarm current of 35mA.
