The FAAST FLEX Vandal Resistant Enclosure is a robust, IP66 rated housing designed to protect either a one or two channel FAAST FLEX aspirating smoke detection unit from intentional tampering or damage. This ensures the continuous and reliable operation of fire detection systems in environments prone to vandalism.

It features a hinged key lock door to prevent unauthorised access. Installation is simplified with pre-drilled holes for 25mm inlet and exhaust ports, plus four cable entries, all supplied with pipe fittings, glands, and blanking caps to maintain IP66 integrity. Wall fixing brackets are also included; however, FAAST FLEX detectors are sold separately.

This vandal-resistant solution is ideal for public spaces like shopping centres, airports, and train stations, where malicious actions are a concern. It is equally crucial for secure facilities such as prisons and detention centres, ensuring fire safety systems remain operational despite potential damage.

Constructed from mild steel, the enclosure measures 300mm (W) x 495mm (H) x 200mm (D), including glands, and weighs 7kg. It is compatible with FLX-010 or FLX-020 FAAST FLEX units.
