The FAAST FLEX is an advanced aspirating smoke detection system designed for environments requiring high configurability, sensitivity, and very early warning capabilities. It continuously draws air through sampling holes to monitor for smoke particles, offering a flexible and cost-effective solution suitable for various applications such as warehouses, cold storage facilities, lift shafts, and electrical rooms.

Available as either a one or two-channel detector, the FAAST FLEX incorporates an improved detection chamber for consistent monitoring with minimal nuisance alarms. Its out-of-the-box operation and user-friendly configuration allow for straightforward setup without specialist tools. Extended configuration options and rapid diagnostics are accessible via a Bluetooth interface and associated smartphone applications.

The detector’s modular design and field-replaceable components ensure convenient in-field service and maintenance, thereby minimising downtime and reducing ongoing costs. The single-channel version can protect areas up to 1600m², while the dual-channel variant covers up to 2000m².

Compliant with EN54-20, the FAAST FLEX can be configured to Class A (very high), Class B (enhanced), or Class C (normal) sensitivity to suit diverse application requirements. It supports substantial linear and branched pipe lengths and accommodates both 27mm and 25mm pipe sizes. Installation is simplified through direct mounting, single-person setup, push-down terminal blocks for tool-free connections, and flexible orientation options.

Status information is communicated via six front-panel LEDs. Fully VdS approved and CE marked, the FAAST FLEX complies with all applicable EU directives, affirming its reliability and safety for installation.
