Description

The Crisis Assist Call Plate is an emergency device designed for manually activating an alarm within an assistance system. Typically installed in public bathrooms, it enables vulnerable individuals to summon help during a personal emergency, offering an accessible alternative to pull cords where ease-of-use is crucial.

Designed and manufactured in the UK, the call plate features an LED-indicated, braille-enhanced call button and a high-volume sounder. Available in light grey acrylic or brushed stainless steel, it can be flush or surface mounted. For optimal placement, the main single-gang plate should be 800-1000mm from the floor, with an additional lower button at 100mm.

The Crisis Assist Call Plate integrates into a Crisis EVC system or operates standalone via a Crisis Assist Controller, utilising standard two-core cabling for flexible installation of up to six plates per line. These systems fully comply with BS5839-9:2011 for disabled refuge systems with integrated Emergency Assist Alarm functionality, alongside BS8300, EMC, and LVD standards, ensuring robust and compliant emergency communication.
