The Banshee Excel Lite is a conventional sounder and Xenon indicator, efficiently combining both functionalities for fire and security applications that require dual notification. This unit is approved to EN54-3 (2831-CPRF1834 by BRE) and features ultra-low current consumption, making it an economical choice for warning systems. Constructed from flame retardant polymer, it ensures durability and safety, designed to operate effectively across a temperature range of -15°C to +40°C.

Customers have the flexibility to choose an IP66 or IP45 rating, depending on the selected base, allowing for suitability in various environmental conditions. The device offers extensive customisation, including a choice of base colour and five distinct lens colour options. Users can also select from 32 different tones and three volume levels to meet specific site requirements.

Installation of the Banshee Excel Lite is designed to be straightforward, utilising an easy push and twist lockable mounting system. It features simple in-and-out wiring blocks that support both side and rear cable entry. The unit also provides operational flexibility, allowing for either independent or combined functioning of its sounder and Xenon beacon.

Technically, the device operates within an EN54-3 voltage range of 20VDC to 28VDC, with a broader operating range of 9VDC to 30VDC. It delivers a flash rate of one per second, consuming 40mA at 24VDC, and is terminated via an 8-way screw terminal block.

The Banshee Excel Lite is available in various configurations, offering different lens colours such as red, clear, amber, blue, and green, typically with a white base and IP45 rating.
