Description

The Advanced MxPro 5 is an addressable fire alarm panel, offering expandability from 2 to 8 loops and featuring 8 onboard sounder circuits, 20 programmable zonal LEDs, and 25 system LEDs. Equipped with dual flash-based microprocessor technology and a high-resolution graphical display, it allows for straightforward engineer configuration and end-user operation via its tactile keypad.

Designed for a broad spectrum of small to large multi-area systems, the panel boasts powerful cause and effect programming, dynamic zoning, and enhanced Trace Diagnostics. Configuration can be carried out directly on-site using the onboard keypad or through PC-Net software, supported by an extensive suite of Windows-based tools for setup, service, and virtual panel management.

For enhanced system integration, the MxPro 5 can be fitted with a network card, enabling communication with other MxPro 5/4 fire panels, remote terminals, and network peripherals such as ipGateway™ or BMS interfaces. This peer-to-peer network can be configured in fault-tolerant loop or radial formats. The panel is also capable of supplying power to up to six Wi-Fyre Xenos Translators per loop.

Approved to BS EN54 parts 2, 4, and 13, the system supports various protocols including Apollo (Xp95 / Discovery), Argus Vega, and Hochiki ESP. Key technical specifications include 500mA loop current, 8 x 1 Amp programmable sounder circuits, and 4 x 1 Amp programmable onboard relays, with further expansion options available. It features dual serial ports and USB interfaces for PC communication, alongside comprehensive event and diagnostic logging capabilities.
