The Crisis Assist WC Kit from Eurofyre is a UK-designed emergency assistance alarm system specifically for accessible toilets, intended to aid individuals who may require immediate help. The kit comprises an over-door plate, a cancel plate, a pull cord, and essential stickers, available in either light grey or stainless steel finishes.

A key feature of the system is its “acknowledge” signalling. Upon activation, the over-door and cancel units emit an audible siren and flashing LED. Once acknowledged, the LED lights steadily, and a reassuring periodic double beep confirms that help is en route. This functionality ensures compliance with BS8300, particularly for remote locations.

The system seamlessly integrates into Crisis Emergency Voice Communication (EVC) systems, centralising all disabled assistance calls to a single display point within a building. It can also operate as a standalone unit with a Crisis Assist Controller. Adhering to BS5839-9:2011, it is fully compliant for use as a disabled refuge system.

Installation can utilise a dedicated line or share a line with a Crisis Type B Refuge Outstation using fire-rated cable. When connected to a Crisis Master Station, the system benefits from full monitoring and battery backup, ensuring continuous operation. Its modular design also allows for expansion to cover accessible bedrooms, meeting relevant building regulations.
