Overview
The 6mm Blanking Plug is a microbore fitting used to seal the end of a 6mm sampling pipe run within an aspirating smoke detection system. It forms part of Eurofyre’s wider 6mm and 4mm push-fit fitting range, which also includes straight unions, a 6 to 4mm tube adaptor, tee unions and 90° elbows, giving installers everything needed to build a complete microbore pipe run for aspirating smoke detection sampling points. Being push-fit, the plug installs quickly without tools, and its lightweight, compact construction is suited to confined or discreet sampling arrangements where standard 25mm ASD pipework isn’t practical. It’s rated for use in both vacuum and pressure applications, so it can be used across a range of aspirating system designs.
