Description

The Eurofyre Wi-Fyre Wireless Heat Detector is an EN54-25 approved device designed for wireless fire detection systems, featuring a modern aesthetic and 360-degree LED indication. Operating on an 868 – 870 MHz frequency, these detectors are powered by lithium metal batteries, offering a battery life of up to three years.

There are three distinct variants available, each combining a ProFyre heat detector head with a Wi-Fyre wireless base. The Wi-Fyre Wireless A2R Heat Detector incorporates a Rate-of-Rise (ROR) thermistor arrangement, sensing rapid temperature increases and a final threshold of 57°C. The Wi-Fyre Wireless A2S Heat Detector utilises a single thermistor for a fixed alarm at 57°C, while the Wi-Fyre Wireless CS Heat Detector provides an alarm at a higher fixed temperature of 90°C. All variants provide a detection coverage of 50m².

These detectors boast a wireless range of up to 150 metres in an open area and are powered by four AA lithium cells. They are constructed from polycarbonate, are white in colour, and weigh 330g including batteries, with dimensions of 103 x 71mm. A tamper detection feature is also integrated to monitor for detector or base removal.

The Wi-Fyre system holds TUV approval, ensuring its safe use and installation across European Union countries. It proudly bears the CE mark, signifying compliance with essential directives such as the Construction Products Regulation (CPR), Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC), and the Low Voltage Directive (LVD), in addition to meeting the EN54-25:2008 standard for components using radio links in fire detection and alarm systems.
