Description

The SenTRI Addressable Heat Sensor with Sounder, available from Eurofyre, is a combined intelligent fire detection and audible warning device. Designed for environments unsuitable for smoke detectors, it uses advanced heat sensing to minimise false alarms. The integrated sounder provides localised alerts, simplifying installation and reducing visual clutter by negating the need for separate alarm units.

Each SenTRI unit features a built-in isolator, enhancing system integrity and reducing costs by removing the necessity for separate isolators. The sensor also incorporates a monitored input/output line, configurable as a fire input or output. This feature can potentially eliminate the requirement for supplementary interfaces.

The sensor communicates directly with the fire control panel via an addressable loop, enabling precise device identification and a swift response to potential fire hazards.

Technically, the device operates between 35V and 41V, functioning in temperatures ranging from -10°C to +50°C and can be stored between -20°C and +70°C. It is compliant with EN54 Parts 3 & 5 standards, produces a sound output of approximately 90 dB(A) at one metre, and carries an IP30 IP20 rating when mounted on a metal back box. The unit weighs 0.11 kg and is constructed with an ABS enclosure. It is LPCB approved. Datasheets are available for download.
