Overview
The Raptor Addressable Sounder with Visual Alarm Device (VAD) is designed to provide an electronics-free first fix. It is available in red or white and has sixteen user selectable tones at the control panel.
The VAD has a coverage pattern of W-3.0-8.7 7 with an approved flash rate of 0.5 Hz and can be triggered independently of the sounder if supported by the control panel.
Raptor Addressable Sounders with VAD are addressed using either an 8-way DIP switch or can be addressed electronically using our handheld programmer.
