Overview
All Crisis Emergency Voice Communication Systems (EVCS) are designed to comply fully with the requirements of BS5839-9:2011 for use as a disabled refuge system (DRS) with integrated Emergency Assist Alarm System.
The Crisis Assist Call Over Door Plate is used to give an audible and visual warning as to which disabled WC requires assistance, it should be mounted either on the wall or ceiling above the door of the disabled WC. The over door plate is built in a single gang brushed stainless steel plate as standard with a blue ‘halo’ indicator for visual alarm and a buzzer for the audible alarm. For simplicity all wiring is a standard two core cable, the wiring order of the plates is not fixed and therefore can be wired in any order to provide routeing flexibility. Each plate has two sets of two part terminals allowing simple cable connections and also a complete fixed solution.
