The Banshee Excel Lite Conventional Sounder & LED Beacon offers an highly efficient, low-current solution for fire alarm systems, leveraging advanced LED technology for both sounder and beacon functions. Approved to EN54-3 by BRE, these units ensure reliable performance in detection and alarm signalling applications.

Constructed from a flame-retardant polymer and fitted with a rocking armature transducer, the units are available with various base and lens colour options. They provide significant customisation with 32 user-selectable tones across three volume levels. Installation is simplified through easy push-and-twist bayonet fittings, straightforward in-and-out wiring blocks, and flexible side and rear cable entry.

Technically, the Banshee Excel Lite operates within an EN54-3 voltage range of 20VDC to 28VDC, or an operating voltage range of 9VDC to 30VDC. It features a synchronised flash rate of one flash per second, with a typical flash current consumption of 16mA at 24VDC. The units are designed to function effectively in temperatures ranging from -20°C to +70°C.

Environmental robustness is a key feature, with options for an IP45 rating for shallow base units or an IP66 rating for deep base versions, meeting minimum IP requirements as per EN54-3.

A variety of configurations are available, including units with red or white bases, combined with matching or clear lenses, and either IP45 or IP66 protection, allowing selection based on specific site requirements.
