What will Eurofyre be exhibiting?
Eurofyre will be exhibiting and demonstrating two of our main products this year at Intersec:
Wi-Fyre
Until recently, Wireless fire alarm technology has only been available as a full system solution. This has made wireless fire detection impractical and difficult to integrate with wired systems. However, Wi-Fyre, a new development from Eurofyre, has been designed to remove this barrier, making wireless integration and control more flexible than ever. Wi-Fyre allows hardwired and wireless detection technologies to co-exist seamlessly regardless of the type, age or technology of the existing hardwired system.
Wi-Fyre allows the system designer to employ wireless devices when and where necessary, enabling the supply of cost-effective wireless fire detection in the most professional and convenient way possible.
Wi-Fyre Key Features:
- Compatible with O.E.M. conventional and addressable fire control panels.
- Fully addressable with the ProFyre A4 and A2 analogue addressable panels and ProFyre T8 2-wire system.
- Can be used as a stand-alone system for residential applications (PSU required).
- Existing systems are easy to extend, without damage to decoration and building fabrics.
- Easy to install, commission and operate.
- Complete range of field devices available.

Videofyre
Video smoke detection typically uses video cameras combined with refined algorithms to detect smoke or fire within the camera’s field of vision. Video smoke detection can provide far earlier detection of fire than most traditional detectors and can often be integrated into existing surveillance systems. This makes video smoke detection the ideal choice for business locations with high ceilings, outside areas and areas with high airflow such as warehouse and distribution centres, power plants, schools and universities and manufacturing facilities to name but a few.
VideoFyre is Eurofyre’s very own video fire detection system. VideoFyre is comprised of a small, single channel IP video encoder which has the ability to detect the presence of smoke or flame within a camera’s field of view. It is compact and cost-effective and can be used with new or existing analogue video surveillance systems. VideoFyre can accurately pinpoint the location of fire helping to provide an extremely early warning of fire when used in conjunction with other detection systems.
VideoFyre offers simple configuration of detection areas and can be set up using straightforward menu style software that can be accessed using any internet browser. Voltage-free alarm and fault contacts are also provided to allow easy integration with local fire alarm monitoring systems.
