Description

The Wi-Fyre Transponder is a central component in wireless fire detection systems, designed to communicate with up to 30 mixed field devices. These include smoke and heat detectors, manual call points, sounders, LED indicators, and input/output devices. Operating within an 868-870 MHz frequency range, the transponder supports wireless communication over an open-area distance of 150 metres.

Available in versions with or without an LCD display, the unit is compact and easy to install. Commissioning can be achieved either through an inbuilt 5-button LCD panel or via an optional Wi-Fyre PC interface card. Key features include a low operating current, five modes of operation, and flexible power options from an addressable loop, conventional zone, or auxiliary supply.

The Wi-Fyre Transponder holds TUV approval and the CE mark, confirming compliance with all applicable EU Directives, including CPR, EMC, and LVD. It meets the EN54-25:2008 standard for fire detection and alarm systems utilising radio links. Technical specifications highlight an IP54 rating for indoor use, an operating temperature range of -10 to +55°C, and a robust polycarbonate housing.
