Overview
The E2S WP6-BG Conventional Weatherproof Manual Call Point is a robust break glass activation device designed for use in demanding indoor and outdoor environments. Built with a lightweight Glass Reinforced Polyester (GRP) enclosure, it provides a durable and corrosion-free solution suitable for industrial facilities, commercial buildings and harsh onshore or offshore applications. The UV-stable housing ensures long-term performance even when exposed to challenging environmental conditions.
The break glass element incorporates a safety membrane designed to snap cleanly during operation without releasing loose glass fragments. This helps improve safety during activation and maintenance procedures. The WP6-BG is available with optional LED indication and can be configured with single or double pole changeover switches to suit a wide range of system requirements.
Designed for reliability in critical applications, the WP6-BG carries SIL2 compliance in accordance with IEC 61508 and provides IP66/67 ingress protection against dust and water ingress. The device also supports optional end-of-line components and flexible cable entry arrangements, making installation and integration straightforward across different fire and alarm systems.
