Overview
In some aspirating smoke detection applications there is a risk of condensation building up inside the pipework and entering the detector. This generally occurs when air samples are drawn from areas that are warm or humid.
In some applications it may be necessary to include a simple water trap arrangement to remove the condensate.
The VESDA Condensation Drain with Ball Valve is designed to provide a safe condensation drain for any low-pressure aspirating smoke detection system. They are manufactured to comply with BS5391 Part 1, EN 61386-1 and the new EN54 Part 20.
