A compact, stylish, easy to install and configure 1 or 2 loop panel range, designed to enable installation and commissioning to take place without the need for an external PC connection.

Mounting Options

The ProFyre A2 has been designed to accommodate for many applications. Available in 3 versions; surface, semi-flush or flush.

Device Allocation

Field devices are automatically allocated to zones during final configuration by virtue of their logical address, with device text being entered using the fully integrated Qwerty keypad. An A2 panel can have up to 8 zones.

Alarm Verification

Alarm verification combined with local device alarm sounding is an established technique to reduce localised unwanted alarms affecting other occupancies, particularly in HMO’s (house in multiple occupation). Each smoke detector is therefore programmable (at the panel) and, if set to verify mode, will only raise a local alarm during the verify period chosen, prior to a full evacuation taking place. During the verification period, if the smoke or heat level drops below the alarm threshold, the affected local sandwich sounder will auto-reset and the system will return to normal without manual intervention.

ProFyre Addressable Devices

Complemented by a complete range of ProFyre addressable field devices, the ProFyre A2 is the perfect choice for systems that require straightforward alarm management and ease of use.

Wi-Fyre Compatible

For complete system flexibly, a loop powered Wi-Fyre Transponder can be connected at any point on the A2 loop wiring, enabling matching ‘wireless’ detector, call points, sounders or interfaces to be seamlessly connected to the wired system. This means that, wireless devices can now be specified and used on an ‘as-needed basis’ on a ProFyre addressable system, without the need for additional power supplies and associated wiring.


The ProFyre A2 is fully approved by Intertek for safe use and installation in any European Union country and bears the CE mark to show that it complies with all the applicable Directives including the CPR, EMC and the Low Voltage Directive (LVD).
