Overview

​The InfraSensing Hydrogen VOC Gas Sensor is a calibration-free, plug-and-play device designed for continuous monitoring of hydrogen (H₂) levels and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). 

It is particularly suited for environments such as data centres, battery rooms and mechanical rooms, where detecting electrolyte vapours and temperature fluctuations is critical.

Designed for indoor use, the sensor comes in a compact form factor with a steel enclosure and offers flexible mounting options, including 0U rack, DIN rail, magnetic, or wall mounting. It connects seamlessly to the SensorGateway via a CAT6 or higher RJ45 cable and is powered by the base unit through Power over Ethernet (PoE) or 12V DC, with optional 24V or 48V inputs.

For enhanced safety, the system can autonomously initiate corrective actions, like activating a fan upon detecting elevated hydrogen levels or sounding an alarm when thresholds are surpassed.
