Overview
Environmental Monitoring Systems (EMS) protect your valuable assets by safeguarding against environmental risks. By monitoring critical parameters, EMS helps prevent equipment failures, data loss, and regulatory violations.
The InfraSensing Ammonia (NH₃) Gas Sensor is a digital, plug-and-play device engineered for continuous indoor monitoring of ammonia concentrations. It accurately measures NH₃ levels up to 100 parts per million (ppm) with a resolution of 1ppm, ensuring precise detection of this potentially hazardous gas.
The InfraSensing Ammonium Gas Sensor has a lifespan of approximately one year under standard operating conditions. Housed in a durable steel enclosure, it offers versatile mounting options, including 0U rack, DIN rail, magnetic or wall installations, facilitating seamless integration into various environments.
Designed for easy deployment, the sensor connects directly to the SensorGateway (BASE-5) via a CAT6 or higher RJ45 cable and is powered through the base unit using Power over Ethernet (PoE) or 12V DC, with optional 24V or 48V inputs.
This sensor is particularly beneficial in environments like data centres, where monitoring NH₃ is crucial to prevent corrosion and ensure the longevity of critical systems.
