Description

The Fireray Reflective Beam Detector, offered by Eurofyre, is designed for use with Fireray Hub Reflective systems. The system’s controller supports up to three beam detectors, with additional detectors available for separate purchase. Each detector kit comprises a detector base, head, reflector, and short-range mask. This detector is engineered for ease of use, featuring automatic alignment capabilities that complete in under two minutes and continuous adjustment for building shifts, ensuring ongoing alignment. It also reduces false alarms due to ambient light interference.

This beam detector extends its path up to 120 metres with an extension kit. Meeting stringent European Union safety standards, the Fireray Hub Reflective carries both CE and UKCA marks, signifying compliance with construction, electromagnetic compatibility, and low voltage regulations. It also adheres to BS EN 54-12:2015, the standard for smoke and line detectors using optical beams.

Technical specifications include a beam path clearance of 0.5m radius from the centre line between the detector and reflector. Each controller can accommodate a maximum of three reflective Fireray beam detectors. The housing is available in white (RAL9016) and grey (RAL7001), both UV stable. The detector itself weighs 0.57kg, while a single reflector weighs 0.06kg.

The detector is designed to operate in temperatures ranging from -10 to +55°C, with a relative humidity range of 0 to 93% (non-condensing or icing). It has an IP55 rating and a UL94 V0 polycarbonate flammability rating. The system provides wiring configurations for up to three beam detectors in parallel or network modes, with a maximum cable length of 100m to the furthest detector in network mode.
