FAAST LT aspirating smoke detectors provide a flexible and reliable fire detection solution for even the toughest environments.
These air sampling detectors are suitable for use in a variety of Class C applications where maintenance is difficult, aesthetics need to be preserved or where traditional detection methods may be inappropriate due to harsh environments. FAAST LT detectors are also suitable for smaller, mission critical applications where very early warning Class A or B detection is required.
Designed with the end-user and installer in mind, these detectors combine a number of proven aspirating detection technologies to deliver reliable smoke detection that is easy to install and maintain.
FAAST LT detectors use high sensitivity laser detectors, ultrasonic flow sensors, protected electronics and fully independent chambers to enable the device to reach the highest sensitivity required for Class C applications (up to 2000m2) and Class A applications (up to 150m2).
These standalone detectors are available as single channel or dual channel devices and all of the detectors in the FAAST LT range come with a range of customisable settings to maximise device performance and meet the needs of different applications.
FAAST LT devices include pre-alarm functionality for graduated alarm thresholds. All detectors provide alarm and fault relays with auxiliary events relays, available as an optional extra, that can be set as latched or non-latched. Flow and general fault delays can also be set to accommodate local installation standards or environments.
Thanks to Pipe-IQ pipe design and configuration software, these detectors are easy to install and commission. Ongoing configuration and system monitoring can also be conducted via USB connection.
