This month Eurofyre would like to bring to your attention to the ProFyre A4 – Eurofyre’s very own fully expandable, open protocol, analogue addressable fire alarm control panel. The A4 is housed in a modern metal enclosure and can be surface or semi-flush mounted. The A4 is also available in a stylish chrome, flush-mount enclosure.
Available with support for up to 8 loops and up to 250 detectors, sounders, interfaces or manual call points per loop, the ProFyre A4 fire alarm control panel is perfectly suited for medium to large applications.
The A4 is capable of communicating with up to 64 additional control panels or repeaters with stand-alone capability – Additional control panels can be installed in monitored areas to provide the ability to observe and control elements of the fire alarm system as separate, stand-alone systems. These panels then communicate with the ProFyre A4 via an RS 485 data network. This provides the ability to distribute the fire alarm system around the site as a series of of smaller units, providing basic control functions and essential display at convenient locations, making the ProFyre A4 the perfect solution for large applications such as university campuses and hospital complexes.
Installation
The Profyre A4 analogue addressable fire alarm control panel can be configured on-site via the integrated keypad or via PC connection making commissioning and maintenance a straightforward process.
Devices
The ProFyre A4 is fully compatible with the ProFyre range of range of analogue-addressable, loop-driven call points, sounders, heat detectors, smoke detectors and interfaces and has a device check facility which provides the ability to illuminate or flash the LEDs of each individual device for identification. The number of devices that are connected to the panel can also be verified by the panel’s ‘Device Count Verification’ Feature.

Approvals
The ProFyre A4 is fully approved by Intertek for safe use and installation in any European Union country and bears the CE mark to show that it complies with all the applicable Directives including the CPR, EMC and the Low Voltage Directive (LVD).
