The VESDA VLF Aspirating Smoke Detector offers very early warning fire detection for small, business-critical environments. It employs a pipe network to draw and filter air, using laser-based technology to identify minute smoke particles, and features a wide sensitivity range with programmable alarm thresholds.
Available in VLF-250 (up to 250 m²) and VLF-500 (up to 500 m²) models, the detectors provide Class A, B, or C fire detection. Sampling configurations, including pipe lengths, are precisely determined by ASPIRE2 Pipe Calculation Software for optimal performance, ensuring tailored coverage for specific areas.
An intuitive ‘Smoke Dial’ display, with circular LEDs, provides immediate visual indication of smoke levels and alarms. An integrated ‘fault finder’ offers instant diagnostics, streamlining maintenance, while optional VESDAnet™ integration allows for centralised monitoring and control of the system.
VdS approved, CE marked, and certified to EN54-20:2006 + AC:2008, the VESDA VLF detectors ensure compliance with relevant standards. Technical specifications confirm their IP30 rating, 24Vdc operation, and compact design.
