Description

The ProFyre Addressable Input Module, from Eurofyre, is designed to monitor low voltage ancillary fire safety equipment, such as sprinkler flow switches, aspiration smoke detectors, or secondary fire control panels, and raise an alarm within a compatible ProFyre system.

This loop-powered module is addressable via dip switches or a hand-held programmer, allowing up to 60 devices per ProFyre loop. A key safety feature is its integral bi-directional short-circuit isolator, which ensures continuous system functionality should a short-circuit occur on the loop. The module provides clear visible LED indications for status, fault, and alarm conditions.

Designed for internal use with an IP21C ingress protection rating, it offers flexible installation. It can be surface-mounted using the supplied back box, which incorporates various knock-outs, or semi-flush mounted directly onto a double European back box due to its compact size. Internal electronics are protected by a cover during installation.

The module is compatible with ProFyre A4, A2, and T8 analogue addressable fire alarm systems. It holds full Intertek approval and bears the CE mark, signifying compliance with all applicable EU Directives, including CPR, EMC, and LVD. It also conforms to EN54-17:2005 (Short circuit isolators) and EN54-18:2005 (Input/output devices) standards.
