Overview
A wireless survey kit is a diagnostic system that is used to test the wireless channels or frequency bands that are used, in general, by Wi-Fyre Xenos systems.
The aim of the test is to determine the degree of reliability of the various channels, select the less congested ones and use those for building
up the Xenos wireless system in the installation phase.
What’s in the Box?
The Wi-Fyre Xenos Wireless Survey Kit includes a Survey Translator, Survey Detector with Extension Pipes, Wireless Dongle, Carrying Case and 12V Charger.
How it Works?
The Android tablet/cell communicates to the Wireless Dongle through the Bluetooth wireless protocol. The Wireless Dongle, Survey Detector and Survey Translator communicate between each other through the Xenos wireless protocol.
Wi-Fyre Xenos Survey App
The Wi-Fyre Xenos Wireless Survey app is an integral part of a wireless survey and allows the engineer to collate data on the property, such as device signal strength, location descriptions and images of the mounting positions. Once a wireless survey is complete, a full site survey report can be generated and shared.
