Overview

Fire detection systems are designed to discover fires in the early stages of development to provide sufficient warning and enable the safe evacuation of occupants. By detecting fires before they become out of control, property loss can also be reduced and operational downtime can be minimised.

There are a variety of fire detection systems on the market. These systems can range from simple detection solutions that provide effective and reliable detection for most applications to specialist detection systems that are suited for applications with unique challenges or specific requirements.

System Sensor is the world’s largest manufacturer of analogue addressable and conventional fire detection devices for commercial applications.

System Sensor System Range

Addressable Fire Alarm System

Addressable fire alarm systems provide each device on the system with a unique address. When an alarm or status report is received the address of the activated device is displayed on the main control panel. This means that the exact location of the device can be pinpointed, enabling appropriate action to be taken quickly and efficiently.

There is a range of loop addressable panels, intelligent fire alarm panels, fire alarm  devices and fire alarm modules available as part of the System Sensor range of addressable fire alarm systems.

Conventional Fire Alarm System

Conventional fire alarm systems provide a simple, reliable and cost-effective solution for a variety of applications. Unlike addressable fire alarm systems, they can not provide an accurate location of fire, but they can identify a zone in which the alarm was triggered.

The System Sensor range of conventional fire alarm systems includes a 2, 4 or 8 zone fire alarm panel and a variety of smoke and heat detectors, beam detectors, duct detectors, callpoints and audible and visual alarms.
