Overview
The VL-ZMA is a three-zone monitor module that is designed to be DIN mounted inside of a Velocity control panel. It has three class A zone monitors which can be used for conventional devices and/or specialist detectors that are not commonly available in addressable form such as UV detectors, aspirating smoke detectors and beam detectors.
The VL-ZMA monitors the status (normal, open, short, or alarm) of zones and transmits it to the control panel and each zone input can be programmed to give either a supervisory or alarm signal when active.
VL-ZMA monitor modules are connected to the Velocity control panel via an RJ45 connection which also provides power to the unit.
Approvals
All components in the Velocity range are UL certified and comply with the requirements of Underwriters Laboratories (UL) 864 Control Units and Accessories for Fire Alarm Systems 10th Edition.
