Overview
The Velocity Class A Notification Appliance Circuit Module (VL-NCA) provides power for, and handles communications to, the non-addressable notification appliances in a Velocity fire detection system. This module has one notification circuit and that can be wired in class A configuration and can handle up to 1A. The circuit is monitored for open, short and earth trouble conditions and reports the current status back to the Velocity MMP control panel.
The VL-NCA module can also be programmed as a 24v auxiliary special application class A output which can be used to provide power to external equipment.
Approvals
All components in the Velocity range are UL certified and comply with the requirements of Underwriters Laboratories (UL) 864 Control Units and Accessories for Fire Alarm Systems 10th Edition.
