Overview
All Crisis Emergency Voice Communication Systems (EVCS) are designed to comply fully with the requirements of BS5839-9:2011 for use as a disabled refuge system (DRS) with integrated Emergency Assist Alarm System.
The Crisis Assist Call Cancel Plate is used to cancel the alarm; the cancel plate should be mounted 1 metre from the floor and the level with the front of the toilet. The cancel plate is supplied as a single gang brushed stainless steel plate as standard with a blue ‘halo’ indicator for the visual alarm and a buzzer for the audible alarm. For simplicity all wiring is a standard two core cable, the wiring order of the plates is not fixed and therefore can be wired in any order to give total flexibility in the installation routes.
