The SenTRI Sounder VAD (Visual Alarm Device) is a sophisticated addressable notification device within the SMS SenTRI fire detection system, combining both audible and visual alerts for comprehensive occupant warning. This range incorporates EN54-23 certified visual alarms and sounders into a single unit, offering essential alerts for all occupants, including those with hearing impairments or in high-noise environments.
The SenTRI Sounder VADs are available as wall-mounted units and come in a choice of red or white flash, with either a standard IP21 rating or an enhanced IP66 (EP variant) for challenging environments. A key industry-leading feature is that this functionality is entirely loop-powered, simplifying installation. Designed to assist with Equality Act 2010 (DDA) compliance, these devices ensure broad accessibility. For commissioning ease, the HandiLink Infrared remote control allows for secure volume adjustment without physical access, requiring password enablement at the control panel to prevent unauthorised changes.
