Overview
Fire detection systems are designed to identify the presence of fire through heat, smoke or flames and alert occupants or authorities to take swift action. Their primary purpose is to ensure safety by providing early warning to minimise the risk of injury, loss of life and property damage. Modern systems utilise sensors, alarms and sometimes automated responses, such as fire suppression systems, to control or extinguish fires. Fire detection is crucial in residential, commercial, and industrial settings to prevent fires from spreading and to enable timely evacuation, emergency response and mitigation of potential hazards.
Typical Applications
-
Education
Fire detection systems ensure the safety of students and staff by providing early warnings in schools, colleges and universities. Systems cover classrooms, laboratories and dormitories to facilitate quick evacuation.
-
