Overview

The Velocity Addressable Mini Input Module is intended for use as part of an addressable two-wire fire detection system. It monitors and transmits the status (normal, open, short, or active) and provides an address for devices equipped with NC/NO dry contacts such as pull stations, water flow switches and security catches to a control panel. The module is used for Class B (Style B & C) operation.

The Velocity Addressable Mini Input Module is loop powered and can be addressed via a VDOT-AD2 programmer. It is small enough to be mounted inside or on the back of a monitored unit and does not require rigid mounting.

Approvals

All components in the Velocity range are UL certified and comply with the requirements of Underwriters Laboratories (UL) 864 Control Units and Accessories for Fire Alarm Systems 10th Edition.
