The Xtratone Conventional Sounder and Visual Alarm Device (VAD) is designed to provide an “electronics-free” first fix. It is a small, high-output device, housed in a UL V0 flame retardant enclosure, available in red or white, that can be surface or flush mounted.
The VAD has a coverage pattern of W 3.0 – 8.9 and the sounder has 22 selectable tones with a 102dB at 1 metre sound output.
Xtratone Conventional Sounder and VADs comply with EN54 part 3 Type A and EN54 part 23.
