Overview

All Crisis Emergency Voice Communication Systems (EVCS) are designed to comply fully with the requirements of BS5839-9:2011 for use as a disabled refuge system (DRS) with integrated Emergency Assist Alarm System.

The Crisis Assist Interface Plate is used to provide the facility to connect a 3rd party switch such as a ‘corona press’ switch strip to door micro switches or similar, (latching or non-latching option). The interface plate consists of a single gang brushed stainless steel plate as standard with a blue ‘halo’ indicator for the visual alarm. For simplicity all wiring is a standard two core cable, the wiring order of the plates is not fixed and therefore can be wired in any order to provide cable routeing flexibility. Each plate has two sets of two part terminals allowing simple cable connections and also a complete first fix solution.
