Overview

The Securiton ASD 531 is an advanced air sampling smoke detector designed for reliable early fire detection. It is suitable for smaller areas where fast and precise detection is crucial. The system works by continuously drawing air from the protected area through a network of pipes into the detection unit, where it is analysed for smoke particles.

The Securiton ASD 531 is known for its ease of installation, configuration and maintenance, making it ideal for applications in environments such as data centres, archives and high-risk areas where traditional smoke detectors may not be effective.

Area Coverage

The Securiton ASD 531 provides efficient smoke detection coverage for areas up to 720m², with a maximum pipe length of 40 metres. It is ideal for small to medium-sized spaces, ensuring rapid detection and response in environments like server rooms, archives, and critical infrastructure.

EN54-20 Aspirating Smoke Detection Sensitivity Classes

The Securiton ASD 531 offers three sensitivity classes to cater to different detection needs:

Class A (Very High Sensitivity) for environments requiring early detection of the smallest smoke particles, such as clean rooms and data centres;
Class B (High Sensitivity) for areas like museums and libraries, where asset protection from smoke damage is crucial; and
Class C (Standard Sensitivity) for general applications, including offices and public buildings, providing reliable smoke detection while minimising false alarms.

Each class allows precise configuration to suit the specific conditions of the monitored area.

Pipe Lengths

Orientation
